Over recent decades, photography has become a prominent medium in contemporary art with artists such as Thomas Demand, Nan Goldin, Andreas Gursky, Cindy Sherman, Wolfgang Tillmans and Jeff Wall amongst many others, attracting international acclaim.

 

Hosted by the National Media Museum, members are invited to join us for this fantastic opportunity to learn more about the main developments in photography over the last 30 years, gain an insight into the collecting strategies of private and public collectors, and get the inside track on emerging talent. Guest speakers including Greg Hobson (National Media Museum), Clare Grafik (Photographers’ Gallery, London) and leading UK photographer Simon Norfolk.
