Join us for a series of exclusive events in Otley and Leeds. The day will include:
• A visit to the private collection of Ronnie Duncan. Ronnie has been collecting for over 50 years and has amassed an outstanding collection of paintings and sculptures including pieces by Roger Hilton, Alan Davie, Rachel Whiteread and Alex Hoda. The majority of his collection is on display in his beautiful 17th century cottage near Otley, North Yorkshire.
• A tour of the Northern Art Prize 2011 at Leeds Art Gallery, led by Curator Sarah Brown. Open to professional artists of any age living in the North of England, this year’s shortlisted artists are Leo Fitzmaurice, James Hugonin, Liadin Cooke, and Richard Rigg.
• Early evening drinks and studio visits with artists based at East Street Arts (ESA) in Leeds. ESA is a dynamic contemporary arts organisation which seeks to support artists through its events programme, membership activities, professional development and studio provision.
