Liverpool Biennial Tour

Collector members are invited to join us and a group of Contemporary Art Society museum curator members from institutions across the UK, in exploring the UK's largest festival of contemporary visual art, the Liverpool Biennial.

Established in 1998 and now in its 5th edition, the international exhibition has commissioned more than 100 new works by major figures in the world of contemporary art, many for the streets and public spaces of Liverpool, creating a unique context for audiences to engage with international practice.

Members will have a special highlights tour by Liverpool Biennial Director Lewis Biggs and are invited to attend a drinks reception at the newly launched Ceri Hand Gallery to see a new exhibition of work by Mel Brimfield, whose meticulously drawn and painted ephemera reveals and invents a rich history of collaboration between artists, dancers, theatre makers, filmmakers, political activists and comedians.

A full itinerary of the day will be available on request.
