Everything Must Go is a playful new art project that challenges our accepted notions of value and commerce.
UK-based artist group Foreign Investment is inviting members of the public to donate, sort and gild hundreds of unwanted consumer goods (preferably saying ‘made in China’). The project will culminate with an art sale and exchange of the ‘upgraded’ objects. In this way, visitors will have been actively involved as suppliers, producers and investors throughout the different stages of the project.
Join us for a special gold-gilding workshop, and the chance to find out more about this unique project with Curator Ying Kwok.
