Bupa Great North Run Culture is an annual series of art projects, which uses the world’s largest half-marathon as the starting point. To celebrate the 30th staging of the Run, a selection of past and present art projects are being shown as part of In The Long Run, at the Great North Museum: Hancock, including work by Graham Dolphin, Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard and Jane and Louise Wilson.
This year also sees the launch of a new collaboration with Opus Art, a portfolio of ten
specially commissioned Limited Edition Prints by Peter Blake, is being sold to support the cultural programme.
Join us for a drinks reception and talk by Beth Bate, Director of Bupa Great North Run Culture, as well as an opportunity to view the Peter Blake print portfolio.
This is a North East Members event. For further details of this event and Contemporary Art Society North East Membership please contact Rebecca Morrill, Head of Collector Development, North East - rebecca@contemporaryartsociety.org
