Leicester joins the centenary celebrations with a special exhibition of selected works gifted by the Society. The museum in Leicester was one of the first to join the Contemporary Art Society in the early years.
This exhibition for the centenary features works gifted by the Society; from Mark Nestler’s The Fruit Sorters, 1914, gifted in 1924, to Peter Doig’s stunning Concrete Cabin, presented in 1996. Other works include those by Stephen Buckley, Michael Sandy and Philip Ackerman.
