Contemporary Art Society curated a series of exhibitions including the high-profile ‘Air and Angels’ featuring sculptures by Anthony Gormley and Alison Wilding.
Designed to promote the new Norman Foster building and encourage new tenants for the owners, the exhibitions proved highly popular and the spaces were fully let within the year. This was one of the first public exhibitions of the maquette for the now famous Angel of the North.
