CAS Consultancy created a permanent contemporary art journey through the nine floors of Seagram’s new headquarters at the iconic Ark building. We were engaged at the earliest stages of construction so that artworks could be integrated naturally throughout the spaces – corridors, atriums and public areas brought to life with site-specific commissions.
The art was selected to reflect Seagram’s image: innovative, dynamic and contemporary, and to provide a visual reference to the highly distinctive architectural character of the Ark: light, liquid and glass provided key reference points for the artists. We also worked to amplify the impact of the art through information: explanatory labels, introductory tours and printed guides.
